It’s Valentine’s Day, and what better way get into a warm and fuzzy mood than to download Doppler Interactive’s latest game Cube & Star: An Arbitrary Love which is available now on Steam.

It is certainly fitting that the game would have a Valentine’s Day release—Doppler Interactive Co-founder Joshua McGrath started the project as a romantic gift for his fiancee who makes up the other half of the L.A. based team. Josh explains “I want to make a game that is exactly the sort of game she would love”. If that isn’t enough to tug at your frozen heart strings, then perhaps a discount will. Cube & Star: An Arbitrary Love is currently 20%-off until February 22. You can pick it up on PC, Mac and Linux for just $7.99.

Cube & Star: An Arbitrary Love is a relaxing experience about the joy of exploration. Created as a completely solo project, the game has received a number of honors including the title of Intel LevelUp 2013’s Best “Other” Game and Indiecade 2013 Finalist.

Stay tuned for our review of Cube & Star later in the week. In the meantime you can watch the video above or learn more about the game here. Better yet you could see what all the fuss is about and download Cube & Star: An Arbitrary Love on Steam.
