Nintendo eShop Update 01/30/14

Nintendo’s weekly eShop updates are now available. On Wii U, Nintendo has finally added the beloved SNES adventure game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, which we recently reviewed. We loved the game and gave it a score of 9.5. If you are a Zelda fan—or even if you aren’t—you owe it to yourself to check out this fantastic entry into the series. It is available now on the Wii U Virtual Console for $7.99 (or $1.50 if you already owned it on Wii Virtual Console).

On the 3DS Virtual Console this week you can also get the original NES version of the arcade classic Mario Bros. for $4.99. This is not to be confused with the more widely known pseudo-sequel Super Mario Bros.

Nintendo has also introduced a special offer for selected Wii U indie games called the Super Indie Connection Sale. If customers purchase one of the included games they can also choose to buy the others at 60% off.
