Ubisoft have just released a new trailer called ‘Welcome to Chicago’ which you can see above for their upcoming open world action-adventure game Watch Dogs. The trailer shows off the impressive level of detail that has been given to the city and its citizens, as well as highlighting some of the many opportunities that players will have to interact with this world. I’m always a little skeptical when I hear overambitious claims like ‘each citizen has a unique identity’, but the scope and size of this world looks impressive regardless.

This is completely off-topic, but personally whenever I hear the name Watch Dogs I instantly think of Sleeping Dogs, another fantastic open world game set in a city that doesn’t get nearly enough videogame love. I really hope that Square Enix are working on a sequel.

Watch Dogs is coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on May 27, 2014. A Wii U version has been put on hold indefinitely and will be released at a later date.
